Ghada Y. AlAmer, a Civil Engineering graduate of Kuwait University (1989), brings over 35 years of leadership experience across the upstream, downstream and petrochemical sectors. Her multidisciplinary expertise spans engineering and major projects, strategy and corporate planning, finance, commercial and risk management, contracting and procurement, technology, HSSE and organisational development, complemented by extensive executive leadership and corporate governance experience.
Throughout her career, AlAmer held several senior leadership positions at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) before joining Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), where she progressed through senior managerial and executive roles, culminating in her appointment as Vice President – Finance & Administration. She also served as Acting Chief Executive Officer of Oil Sector Services Company (OSSC), leading its administrative and operational activities.
AlAmer later served as Deputy Managing Director – Finance at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), the parent corporation of Kuwait’s oil sector, providing strategic oversight of key financial and risk management functions and leading major sector-wide initiatives and committees.
Following her executive career, AlAmer continued to contribute at board level, serving as Board Member of Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) and Vice Chairman of Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI). She currently serves as Vice Chairman of KUFPEC and Chairman of its Projects Committee, playing a key role in Board governance and strategic oversight, with a particular focus on major investments, portfolio growth and long-term value creation across KUFPEC’s international upstream business.

With nearly 28 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry, his extensive experience included the management of KOC's hydrocarbon resources and production portfolios, production value chain, leading the integration of Fields Development Plans for green and brown oil fields, enhanced oil recovery (EOR) pilot projects, and the development of best practices related to reservoir management for implementation across KOC.
As Deputy CEO of Planning & Innovation Directorate in 2023, he led the company’s digital transformation strategy and implementation. He also served as Deputy CEO of South & East Kuwait Directorate in 2021 and successfully led the development of the second largest oil field in the world, the Greater Burgan Field, which increased oil production to 250,000 barrels per day within 18 months

Mr. Waleed Al-Mukhzaizim was appointed as the Executive Vice President of Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI) on 04 January 2026. His current responsibilities are to support the President & CEO and oversee Q8’s marketing operations worldwide.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Waleed was Deputy Managing Director – International Marketing Sales of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) from 17 August 2023 to 03 January 2026. During this time, he had an extensive experience in various segments of marketing & trading of crude oil & petroleum products at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. He has effectively handled diverse aspects of physical trading, market research & projects evaluation in the Kuwait Oil Sector.
Mr. Waleed began his career as Petroleum Engineer at Kuwait Oil Company in 1995 and later joined Kuwait Petroleum Corporation – International Marketing in 1996. He was assigned to various sales department in International Marketing at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation covering major accounts in Asia, Europe, USA and Africa.

Mr. Fahad Al-Kharqawi is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Joint Operations) at Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC), with more than 30 years of distinguished experience in the oil and gas industry. A Kuwaiti national holding a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, he has built an exemplary career through progressive leadership positions spanning Engineering, Project Management, Corporate Transformation, and Executive Management.
Since commencing his career in the petroleum sector in 1992, Mr. Al-Kharqawi has held a series of strategic leadership roles across Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC). His key appointments include Deputy CEO (Joint Operations), Deputy CEO (Technical & Commercial Affairs), Acting Deputy CEO (Finance & Administration Affairs) at KGOC, and Deputy CEO (Projects Management & Engineering), Manager of the CEO Office Group, Manager of Major Projects Group-II, Manager Support Service and Team Leader for Jurassic and Gas Projects at KOC. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in delivering major capital projects, leading large-scale infrastructure developments, and supporting the advancement of Kuwait’s upstream oil and gas sector.
In his current role, Mr. Al-Kharqawi provides executive leadership for the safe, reliable, and sustainable management of Joint Operations assets and activities. He is responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing hydrocarbon production, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and ensuring the achievement of strategic business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, environmental stewardship, and corporate governance.
A respected leader and strategic decision-maker, Mr. Al-Kharqawi has played a pivotal role in corporate transformation initiatives, organizational restructuring, project governance, risk management, and business performance enhancement. He has chaired numerous executive committees and served on various boards and steering committees across the Kuwait petroleum sector, contributing significantly to the development and implementation of industry-leading practices.
