Our Operations

KUFPEC Australia Pty Ltd (KAPL) has been actively involved in Australian oil and gas, principally in Western Australia, since 1981. KUFPEC’s has working interest as a non-operated partner in the onshore Wheatstone LNG project, offshore gas/condensate WA-49-L, WA-46-L, 47-L, 48-L production licenses, offshore exploration blocks WA-356-P, WA-536-P and KUFPEC is the operator in WA-538-P & WA-539-P permits.

In 2026, KUFPEC acquired a 20% interest in Orca and Sul De Orca asset in Brazil. The development plan for the asset included the installation of a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel to produce up to 120,000 barrels of oil per day. The estimated recoverable resource volumes of the Orca development are approximately 370 million barrels with production expected to start in 2029.

KUFPEC acquired its equity interest in the Kaybob Duvernay project (“Kaybob Project”) in 2014. The company holds a 30% working interest in the asset, which is predominantly operated by Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL), representing approximately 98% of the acreage. The remaining 2% of the acreage is operated by Whitecap and Sinopec, where KUFPEC holds a variable working interest ranging from 3% to 19%. The Kaybob Project spans more than 300,000 acres in Alberta, Canada, and represents KUFPEC’s first onshore unconventional liquids-rich tight gas asset.

In 2025, KUFPEC acquired a 20% interest of a new offshore exploration block in Suriname, marking another significant milestone through entering a new country and expanding its international exploration portfolio within high-potential basins.

KUFPEC’s offshore projects in Malaysia include the two oil blocks: PM-304 and SK-304 in addition to SK-410B gas exploration block.

KUFPEC has the two offshore oil/gas/condensate projects of Natuna Sea Block A, Anambas Exploration block and Ephindo exploration license.

KUFPEC’s onshore gas projects in Pakistan include Bhit & Badhra, Qadirpur, Pahrapur, Bela West, Kadanwari and Zamzama.

KUFPEC’s sole producing block in Egypt is the Geisum & Tawila West offshore oil field. In addition, KUFPEC holds an interest in the North Ras Kanayes exploration block.
