KUFPEC at IPA Convention

KUFPEC Indonesia participated in the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) Convention & Exhibition held at ICE, BSD City, Indonesia, from May 14 to May 16, 2024. The theme of the event was "Gaining Momentum to Advance Sustainable Energy Security in Indonesia and the Region." This annual event, organized by IPA, was attended by the major oil and gas companies operating in Indonesia.

The IPA Convention event began with an opening ceremony officiated by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Arifin Tasrif. Attendees from KUFPEC included the Executive Vice President of Operations, Mr. Tareq Ibrahim, the Regional Manager for Operations in Asia, Europe, and Africa, Mr. Bader Al-Mattar, and the Corporate Service & Public Relations Manager, Mr. Jaber Al-Shatti.  Following the opening ceremony, the KUFPEC booth was visited by high-ranking embassy officials and Indonesian government representatives.
  
In addition to participating in the Convention activities, the KUFPEC technical team made a geological presentation to students visiting the KUFPEC booth. The presentation was well received and drew significant interest from students and other visitors. It concluded with a Q&A session and a quiz for the students.
