KUFPEC Organizes Oil Sector Leaders Town Hall

Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) organized Oil Sector Leaders Town Hall Meeting, titled “Digital Transformation”, at Four Seasons Hotel on 24 September 2024.
The event is a significant platform for oil sector leaders to reflect on achievements of the past fiscal year and address major issues such as digital transformation in line with the strategy of KPC and its subsidiaries. The meeting also shed light on the rapid technological developments, and the changes required to implement digitization in all procedures and operations of the oil sector to boost operational excellence and continuous innovation.

n his keynote address, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) CEO Shaikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasir Al-Sabah underscored the importance of the collective efforts and knowledge-sharing among oil sector employees to propel Kuwait’s national economy forward. Shaikh Nawaf said developing and refining the skills of the next generation of oil sector leaders is crucial for achieving the strategic objectives of KPC and its subsidiaries, as well as steering the Kuwaiti oil industry toward providing sustainable energy for a promising future.

KUFPEC CEO Mohammed Salem Al-Haimer highlighted the significance of optimal utilization of artificial intelligence and digital transformation to achieve oil sector goals, asserting that KUFPEC is keen to continue its successes in exploration operations. KUFPEC recently made a new oil discovery in the Geisum and Tawila West concession in the Gulf of Suez, Egypt, which demonstrates our commitment to enhancing our international position as an active investor in the field of exploration and production of hydrocarbons outside Kuwait, added Al-Haimer.

At the end of the meeting, oil sector leaders reiterated their dedication to serve the State of Kuwait and the oil sector to fulfil more achievements and ensure a bright and sustainable future for the operations and assets of KPC and its subsidiaries.
